Builders Care - Rebuilding The American Dream

In 2004 Builders Care teamed up with ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover" to rebuild a house for a needy family in Hastings, Florida and Builders Care was highlighted on National TV for their good works in Northeast Florida.

It wasn't long there after that Bill and Chris had the idea to make their own show as the flagship of Builders Care marketing program as an effort to share with the Northeast Florida community the magnitude of the impoverished housing conditions that many of our neighbors live in, as well as an effort to raise support for Builders Care good works.

Builders Care hired Deeplight Productions' Mick Richards to film and edit "The Builders Care Show". Within a few years Builders Care developed seven one hour shows that aired and reran in the Northeast Florida area making Builders Care a local household name. Effectively sponsors paid production and air cost by purchasing 30 second commercial space, as well as paying to have their organizations highlighted in the show as a great community steward.

Fast forward... Mick Richards, a talented writer and director, started another company, Deeplight Television, which started a new television show, "Building a Difference."

Builders Care has agreed to allow Mick Richard/Deeplight Television to reformat the local Builders Care Show into the series that is currently airing on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN).

Knowing what local television has done for Builders Care, we are prayerful that by being highlighted in an international television show our ministry can be expanded to help even more people in need.
