The Brown family has 3 children all with Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy, a debilitating genetic neuromuscular disease that progressively weakens the muscles and over time leads to degeneration and, ultimately is terminal. Two of the three Brown boys are using wheel chairs. Two of the boys share a room and they wanted to be able to have “space and privacy” from each other. However, the ceiling needed to be repaired in order to be able to put a curtain between the two boys’ beds. So, Builder’s Care was able to repair the ceiling, so the boys could both have a little bit more of their own space. Design for the Heart, came in after and designed the incredible murals on the walls afterwards, and spruced the boys’ room!
